Respiratory Care Practitioner

Under the direction of the Supervisor/Manager/Director, the RCP will provide respiratory care appropriate to the area of assignment; adult and pediatric. Performs all duties of blood gas analysis including stick, draw, analysis and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Certification from a Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Coursework/Training Completion of 2-year certificate from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Critical care experience in adult intensive care.
• Pediatric experience.
• EKG experience.
