A K-12 school based in Irving, TX, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification for a contract position lasting the full school year (NSY).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across kindergarten to 12th grade
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations to support student success
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and related disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid licensure or eligibility to practice in the state of Texas
