Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Houston, TX

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide vital support as a Speech Language Pathologist in a K-12 educational setting. This role is designed for individuals dedicated to enhancing the communication skills of students through assessment, intervention, and support.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC)
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Experience working in K-12 schools preferred
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to collaborating with educational staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students speech and language abilities
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support students overall development
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
