Skilled Nursing Facility Physical Therapist Lakewood, Washington

A full-time, school year Physical Therapist position is available in a K12 school setting located in Lakewood, WA. This contract role offers the chance to provide essential therapeutic support to students within a collaborative and supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse K12 student caseload based on district needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing student mobility and function
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and well-being
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-centered planning and interventions

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington
• Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification from OSPI is required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or in a pediatric setting is preferred
