Pediatric Speech Therapist in Plainfield, IL

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract from August 18, 2025, through June 2, 2026, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. The role involves working across Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle School settings, providing critical speech and language support to a diverse student population.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Providing direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintaining clear documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards.
• Utilizing teletherapy as needed to supplement in-person services.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC).
• Experience and certification in healthcare and pediatrics.
• Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods.
• Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY).
• Experience working within elementary school environments and educational settings.
