A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). This position is ideal for professionals experienced in K-12 school settings, especially those with pediatric and healthcare SLP backgrounds.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in a diverse student population. You will collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide ongoing therapy tailored to student needs. The role supports a hybrid work schedule and includes access to an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Key qualifications and preferred experience:
- SLP license in hand with K-12 school experience strongly preferred
- Certification as an SLP-CCC or currently in CFY
- Comfortable working with pediatric populations within healthcare and educational environments
- Ability to manage full-time caseload for a full school year contract
- Open to hybrid (on-site and remote) schedules
- Strong collaboration skills with school staff and related service providers
Location: Serving multiple schools in the Katy, TX area, including North Houston-Bammel, Westfield, The Woodlands, Aldine, and surrounding districts.
