Speech and Language Pathologist in Hayti, SD

A specialized role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support K-12 students on a part-time basis in a South Dakota school setting. This position involves providing targeted 1:1 therapy services during a maternity leave contract from November 2025 through January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 speech and language therapy to K-12 students.
• Participate in and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with VOCO client billing requirements.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP certification with CCC credentials.
• Experience in educational settings serving a diverse K-12 population.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
• Ready to interview immediately and available to work 2-3 days per week during the contract period.
