Longview Rehabilitation Hospital is a 36-bed inpatient rehab facility located at 701 E Loop 281 in Longview, Texas. It specializes in helping patients recover from serious illnesses or injuries that have impacted their ability to function independently.
Highlights:
- Comprehensive Inpatient Rehab: Offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, orthopedic trauma, and other complex conditions.
- Intensive Therapy Model: Patients receive at least three hours of therapy per day, five days a week, under the supervision of a rehabilitation physician and 24-hour rehab nursing.
- Personalized Care Plans: Treatment is tailored to each patient's goals, with a focus on restoring independence and transitioning safely back home.

How you'll contribute:
- Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.
Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
Seeks consultation as necessary.
Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan.
Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.
Qualifications and requirements:
Associate's degree Required; Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
Physical Therapy Assistant in the State
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
