How you'll contribute
A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) plays a crucial role in supporting occupational therapy services. They work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients regain function and prevent disability due to illness or injury. Their responsibilities include:
Implementing treatment plans designed by the OT.
Assisting patients with therapeutic exercises and activities.
Monitoring progress and reporting changes to the OT.
Educating patients and families on home programs.
Ensuring compliance with hospital and departmental policies.

Qualifications and requirements:
Current state licensure/certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Previous experience in the care of patients preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hire
