Job Description:
In this role, you will Provide friendly and helpful customer service to patients and their families. You will ensure the smooth running of the reception area and provide essential support for our healthcare staff. You will offer correct and clear directions and assistance to our patients and staff. Answering general questions about the hospital services, procedures and policies, acting as a resource for both the patient and visitors Help keep the reception area and lobby organized, tidy and clean, ensuring a welcoming environment for all. Ensuring information is conveyed accurately and efficiently to patients and visitors. You will report to Lola Pacheco and who they manage if applicable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
- Greeting and directing
- Answering inquiries
- Escorting patient/visitors
- Maintaining the lobby
- Making deliveries
- Dispatching ME
- Answering and transferring phone calls
- Facilitating communication
QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in using electronic medical records system and other computer skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Great verbal and written communication skills. A strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle patients/visitor's inquiries and concerns.
Education: A high school diploma and some post-secondary training in medical administration or a related field is often preferred
