This position is for an Assistive Technology Specialist supporting K-12 students, available as a full-time contract for the upcoming school year. Located in the Riverside/Perris area, this role offers 40 hours per week assisting students through innovative technology solutions to enhance their learning experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with educators and therapists to implement and support assistive technology tools
- Assessing student needs to recommend appropriate technology accommodations
- Providing training and support to students, families, and staff on assistive technology use
- Monitoring and documenting student progress with technology interventions
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Applicants with backgrounds as Occupational Therapists (OT) or Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), especially those with experience or certification in healthcare or school settings, are encouraged to apply. Preferred qualifications:
- Experience or interest in pediatric therapy services within school environments
