Speech Language Pathologist Location: In-House Skilled Nursing Facility Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 Job Purpose: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house therapy team. The SLP will play a key role in planning, organizing, developing, and directing speech-language pathology services in alignment with federal, state, and local standards and regulations. This position ensures the highest quality of care for our residents through clinically excellent and patient-centered therapy. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, following professional standards and departmental guidelines. Evaluate residents and collect data necessary for individualized treatment planning. Develop comprehensive treatment plans, including target lists, short-term goals, and long-term goals. Educate patients, families, and facility staff on therapeutic procedures to support carryover and maximize outcomes. Complete compliant, timely, and medically necessary documentation using NetHealth EMR in accordance with CMS guidelines . Oversee and implement protocols for FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) and MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) studies, including site coordination. Participate in and support screening protocols to identify residents' needs and ensure timely, high-quality care.
