Occupational Therapist Part Time

In this rewarding role, you'll:
* Jump into action by evaluating new patients within 24 hours of referral (or next business day)because we don't like to keep people waiting!
* Craft personalized treatment plans that work and get the green light from referring physicians.
* Put your plans into motion by delivering hands-on therapy that helps people regain independence and reach their goals.
* Share your knowledge and support by training Restorative Aides and supervising OT Assistants (COTAs).
* Be the communication championkeeping the care team in the loop on progress, plans, and goals.
* Attend team huddles like Patient Care Conferences and Rehab Reviews to keep care collaborative and patient-centered.
* Get involved in training sessions to help other staff grow their skills.
* Document with precisionevaluations, treatment notes, progress updates, and moremeeting state, federal, and insurance requirements.
* Empower patients and families with caregiver education and home-care plans for smooth discharges.
* Help with equipment recommendations like walkers, braces, and grab bars so patients can thrive at home.
* Keep our department running smoothly by reporting any equipment issues.
* Build meaningful connections with patients, families, and your fellow healthcare pros.

Supervision Duties:
* Guide and support COTAs, therapy aides, and students as they grow in their roles.
What You Bring to the Table:
* A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (bonus points for Master's or Doctorate!).
* A current OT license in the state and up-to-date continuing education.
* Experience using documentation platforms like Casamba or PointClickCare.
* Strong reading comprehension and math skills (we're talking ratios, not calculus).
* A curious, problem-solving mindset that thrives on collaboration and creativity.
Physical & Work Environment:
* This is an active, hands-on rolewalking, lifting, kneeling, and more are part of the daily adventure.
* You'll need to be comfortable lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally (don't worryyou won't be doing it alone!).
* Our work environment is calm but full of energyperfect for focused care and team collaboration.
