Our clinic is looking for caring mental health practitioners dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients. You'll be in charge of doing diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible. The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and a current LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or related iicense. If you're interested in advancing your mental health career, apply today!ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up careAssist with intervention for patients when a crisis occursRecommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in needDevelop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patientsDetermine the status of patients mental health by using medical information, interviews, observation, and testing, as well as collaboration with other staff membersConduct and interpret psychological or medication evaluations for clients and their familiesProvide counseling, psychotherapy services, psychological assessments and or medication management to achieve treatment goals, reduce symptoms, and improve functioning.QualificationsA minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist or nurse practitioner.Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support)Exceptional problem-solving and analytical ability as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are neededState licensure that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or equivalentNurse Practitioner or MD also encouraged to applyIndependent licensure or close to sitting for exam - LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PSYD, etc.Must have at least a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Clinical Psychology.
