Full -Time Staff Physical Therapists Pelvic Health MGH WalthamAs the largest hospital in New England, Massachusetts General Hospital continues its tradition of excellence. The Mass General Physical Therapy department is at the leading edge of physical and occupational therapy science. Our staff consists of over 200 licensed clinicians and more than 85 board-certified specialists - their knowledge and experience fueling our commitment to deliver world-class care to our local and global communities.
We currently have full-time opportunities for Physical Therapists within the specialized practice of Pelvic Health. MGH physical therapist provide expert care for women, men and children with pre, post and non-surgical pelvic pain, urinary/fecal incontinence, trauma, constipation, pregnancy and post-partum related issues. Opportunities exist for diverse split caseloads of Pelvic Floor/Womens Health, Orthopaedic/Musculoskeletal and Oncology.
As an MGH Physical Therapist, you will engage in numerous collaborative experiences within the medical community. Clinicians attend and present at Pelvic Pain Rounds and work closely with a diverse team of professionals and mentors. We are committed to continuous professional development and provide support for staff to be able to manage the clinical complexity of our patient population.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have:
- Massachusetts Physical Therapy License - required
- Pelvic Health Physical Therapist with 3+ years experience in pelvic health
- Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic PT - APTA CAPP or Herman certification (strongly preferred at time of hire or with a plan to achieve APTA CAPP Certification)
