Speech Language Pathologist - Remote Therapy Services Detroit, MI

We are seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive virtual therapy services to K-12 students. This remote position offers professional autonomy while delivering evidence-based interventions through innovative technology platforms.

• Conduct virtual speech and language assessments using digital tools
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for diverse student needs
• Provide direct therapy services through secure video conferencing platforms
• Collaborate with IEP teams to establish and monitor communication goals
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Participate in virtual meetings with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and professional standards

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active Michigan state licensure
• 2+ years of school-based experience
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and digital assessment tools
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric communication disorders
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities

• Experience with articulation, language, and fluency disorders
• Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication systems
• Understanding of special education processes and IEP development
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for virtual delivery
• Cultural competency and family-centered practice approach
