About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide remote teletherapy services to a diverse caseload of children and adults across Nevada. As a member of our dynamic team, you will deliver high-quality speech and language therapy via secure online platforms, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care for clients in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine client needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each client's goals.

  • Provide direct therapy services through telepractice, utilizing evidence-based techniques.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize client outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.

  • Participate in virtual meetings and case conferences as required.

  • Stay current with advancements in teletherapy practices and continuing education.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Active and unrestricted SLP license in the state of Nevada.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing speech-language therapy services, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.

  • Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.

  • Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus.

  • Familiarity with Medicaid billing and documentation requirements.
