The Associate Director (AD) for the Idaho Assistive Technology Project (IATP) will help deliver assistive technology services statewide to individuals with disabilities, their families, and professionals through oversight and participating in multiple grants so Idahoans can live, work, learn, and play in their communities.
This position will work alongside the IATP Director to implement the Assistive Technology Act. To that end, IATP will partner with national and statewide disability agencies and programs to collaborate on federal and state disability activities, statutes, and policies. Moreover, the IATP AD will assist in maintaining relationships with the Idaho federal congressional members to provide expert information and constituent support.
Finally, the AD will participate in the supervision of staff, grant writing, teaching, budgeting, conducting research, and publishing.
