Facility Type: Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID)

Shift: MondayFriday, Day Shift (typically 8:00 AM 4:30 PM)

Duration: Contract (with potential for extension)

Amergis Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Stillwater Center , a county-operated facility serving individuals with profound developmental disabilities and complex medical needs. The PT will play a vital role in improving mobility, function, and quality of life for residents through individualized therapy plans.

+ Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

+ Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and coordination

+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy

+ Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

+ Educate staff and caregivers on mobility techniques and assistive devices

+ Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to long-term care strategies

+ Active Ohio Physical Therapist License

+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care, SNF, or ICF/IID setting preferred

+ Strong understanding of developmental disabilities and neurological conditions

+ CPR certification (BLS)

+ Excellent communication and documentation skills

+ Serve a vulnerable and inspiring population

+ Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment

+ Enjoy consistent daytime hours with no weekends or holidays required
