What You'll Do:

• Develop, manage, and evaluate engaging cultural arts programs for all ages

• Produce live theatrical performances, from casting to curtain call

• Coordinate gallery exhibits and oversee the Shape of Community public art program

• Collaborate on the planning and execution of the City's annual arts festival

• Assist in creating compelling marketing to promote cultural arts activities

• Serve as the liaison to the Cultural Arts Commission

• Seek out and manage arts-related grants and funding opportunities

• Supervise and support part-time staff, interns, and volunteers

• Oversee budgets and assist with procurement and vendor bids

• Ensure compliance with City policies and relevant laws

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in Arts Administration, Theater, Recreation, or a related field

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in cultural arts or theater programming

• Strong knowledge of theatrical production, visual art exhibition, and event planning

• Experience supervising teams and managing budgets and contracts

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Proficiency with standard office software and digital tools

• A valid Missouri driver's license (or ability to obtain one)
