Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant in Tulsa, Oklahoma! This role is in person / on site at an outpatient clinic. Please read below and reply with an updated resume for consideration.
Type: Permanent Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities for the Physical Therapist Assistant:
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
Educate patients and their families on exercises, care plans, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes inpliance with clinic policies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensureprehensive patient care.
Ad to safety protocols and infection control procedures within the clinic environment.
Qualifications for the Physical Therapist:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and physical therapy practices.
Experience in acute care, orthopedics, or outpatient settings is preferred.
Familiarity with discharge planning processes and care plan development.
Strongmunication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
