Job Type: Full-time and Part-time
The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering occupational therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing setting. The OT helps residents regain and enhance their ability to perform daily activities and achieve optimal functional independence while complying with Colorado state practice regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-
Evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and interdisciplinary care plans.

Provide training and education to residents, caregivers, and staff on adaptive techniques and equipment.

Document all services in compliance with facility, Medicare/Medicaid, and state requirements.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care planning, and discharge planning processes.

Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as required.

Ensure patient safety and promote a positive rehabilitation experience.

Adhere to ethical standards and Colorado state licensure rules.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Current Colorado Occupational Therapy License in good standing.

Valid CPR certification.

Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.

Ability to assist with resident transfers and mobility tasks.

Competitive hourly $40/hr - $50/hr DOE
