Position Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our team.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory pharmacologic, diagnostic, and therapeutic modalities
to all age groups. The practitioner provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other team
members, the physician, and the patient/family to achieve optimal outcomes. This position acts as a liaison with
other clinical departments. The individual provides clinical leadership throughout the system. The incumbent
has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with
other team members, directors and physicians. The Registered Respiratory Therapist works under the indirect
supervision of the Respiratory Care Supervisor.

supervision of the Respiratory Care Supervisor. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department and health system.

Qualifications

Required Educational Degree: Associate Degree
Major/Area of Concentration: Respiratory Therapy
Preferred Education: American Medical Association (AMA) approved associate degree program
for Respiratory Therapy.

Required : Licensed by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board and Registered by the (NBRC)
National Board for Respiratory Care. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support and NRP Neonatal Resuscitation
Program Completed. BLS

Preferred Experience: 2 years experience in critical care, emergency, and diagnostic. respiratory
care procedures.
