This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Solano, CA, serving a K-12 school environment. The role spans the entire academic year under a contract arrangement, providing services to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to approximately 40-65 students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Work with students presenting various disabilities, tailoring interventions to meet individual communication needs.
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication methods, with preferred experience in AAC and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credential and relevant certification for school-based practice.
- Experience working with a wide age range of students (prek-12) and various disabilities.
- Strong background or willingness to develop skills in AAC and PECS; familiarity with VOCO is not required but a thorough understanding of communication strategies is essential.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
