A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Live Oak, CA. This contract role spans the duration of the 2023-2024 school year, from August 12 through June 6, providing an excellent opportunity for experienced SLP professionals or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates looking to contribute to pediatric speech and language services in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across grades K-12 within the district.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote effective communication and learning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience providing speech therapy in healthcare, pediatric, school, or educational settings.
- Knowledge of speech-language disorders and appropriate therapeutic techniques for K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clinical Fellowship Year candidates will be considered.
- Ability to work seven hours per day, full-time schedule.

- Districtwide assignment supporting multiple schools as needed.
