This position offers a part-time opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a middle school setting, located in Benton, IL. The contract runs from August 13th through May 20th, with 20 to 30 hours per week during the school year.
Key responsibilities include delivering direct speech therapy services tailored to student needs, conducting assessments and evaluations, and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The role requires participation in IEP meetings and effective use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, such as iPads and the "lamp app," to support communication.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License (IL SLP-CCC)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
