Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide valuable services in a K-12 setting located in Mount Vernon, IL. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech and language disorders.

• Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of 30-35 middle school students, ages 11-14.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement strategies that support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student assessments, progress, and communication with stakeholders.
• Stay current with best practices and developments in speech-language therapy and educational methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Illinois SLP license and PEL certification.
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in a middle school setting.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques.
