School Occupational Therapist Middletown, Delaware

An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Middletown, DE. This position is offered as a contract role for the duration of the normal school year (NSY).

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct occupational therapy services to students across grades K-12
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
• Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with school policies and regulations
• Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing professional expertise

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license to practice in the state of Delaware
• Experience delivering occupational therapy services within school settings
• Knowledge of K-12 student developmental stages and related therapy techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
