School Based Speech Language Pathologist- REMOTE (Licensed in California)

Summary: Seeking a Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide teletherapy services to school-aged children. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders remotely. Collaborate with educators and parents for student success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and students' needs.
• Provide direct therapy services via teletherapy platforms to address speech and language disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environment.
• Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student records.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
• Stay current on best practices, research, and trends in the field of speech-language pathology.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive therapy experience.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing boards.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• California CCC-SLP from ASHA
• State licensure or eligibility.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and communication.
• Comfortable with teletherapy technology.
• Reliable internet and workspace.
