School Speech-Language Pathologist Job Full-Time SLP Opportunity in DeKalb, IL

Role Overview:
The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders, collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff. Services will be provided in individual and group settings, aligned with student IEPs and academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop treatment plans

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in line with IEP goals

  • Monitor and document student progress

  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers

  • Address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs

  • Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Experience working in school settings preferred

  • Schedule: MondayFriday, school hours

  • Caseload: K12 students (assignment may vary)
