School-Based COTA/OT Opening Part-Time (15 hrs/week) - Near Algonquin, IL

A supportive school district near Algonquin, Illinois is actively interviewing for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 20252026 school year . This is a part-time onsite position with 15 hours per week , with the option to combine with other nearby part-time openings to create a full-time schedule if desired.

Position Details:

• Location: Near Algonquin, IL

• Schedule: 15 hours/week (flexible scheduling available)

• School Year: 20252026

• Grade Levels: K12

• Onsite Only

• Caseload: Assigned based on experience and preferences

Key Responsibilities (COTA/OT Duties):

• Support students with fine motor, gross motor, sensory, and self-care needs in the educational setting

• Conduct or assist in occupational therapy evaluations and assessments

• Implement IEP-based therapy sessions and maintain documentation

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to promote student success

• Assist in the development of treatment plans and goal tracking

• Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and progress monitoring

• Maintain compliance with school, state, and professional guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois OT or COTA License

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
