School SLP Role Help Students Thrive in Cincinnati Classrooms

Cincinnati Public Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join their team of student support professionals. This school-based role offers the opportunity to provide direct therapy services and collaborate with educators to improve student communication skills in academic environments.

Position Overview:
As the SLP, youll assess student needs, develop customized treatment plans, and support speech and language development in a variety of educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations

• Develop and implement IEP-aligned therapy goals

• Address language, fluency, articulation, and social communication needs

• Support students in both inclusion and pull-out settings

• Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families

• Participate in team meetings and document services

Required Credentials:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Valid Ohio SLP License

• ODE Pupil Services License for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC preferred

• Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings beneficial

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday, during school hours

• Caseload: K12 (assignment based on district needs)
