Jersey City Public Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students improve communication skills vital to academic and social success. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a school-based team committed to student progress and inclusive support.

Position Summary:
As an SLP, youll provide direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP-driven interventions that foster speech, language, and communication development in diverse student populations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and write formal reports

• Deliver individualized and group therapy aligned with IEP goals

• Collaborate with educators and special services staff

• Address speech, fluency, language, and pragmatic communication needs

• Maintain service logs and ensure compliance with all documentation standards

• Attend IEP meetings and support goal setting

Qualifications:

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology

• Valid New Jersey SLP License

• NJ DOE Speech-Language Specialist Certification

• ASHA certification (CCC) preferred

• Experience working with school-age children preferred

• Organized, communicative, and collaborative

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday

• Caseload: K12 (varies by school assignment)
