Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license
• CCC-SLP certification preferred
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong evaluation and assessment skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Proficient in managing mild to moderate articulation and language disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech evaluations and assessments for students
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to facilitate effective interventions
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
• Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding students speech and language goals
• Offer direct services as an itinerant SLP across 2 to 3 schools
