A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics and teletherapy to provide essential support for K-6 students in an elementary school setting in Sunnyvale, TX. This position spans the 2025/2026 school year with flexible scheduling options, allowing approximately 10 hours per week that can be arranged to fit your availability while maintaining consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech therapy sessions to a caseload of approximately four elementary students.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children from kindergarten through sixth grade.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational staff to ensure comprehensive care and goal alignment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Proven experience or specialization in pediatric speech therapy.
- Competence in delivering teletherapy services is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster productive partnerships with students, families, and school personnel.
