**Position Summary**
OrthoNY has an opening for a Full Time Physical Therapy Representative. This position accurately and efficiently collects and enters information needed from patients to facilitate processing and payment follow through for all services rendered.
**Responsibilities**
+ Greet patients promptly in a pleasant manner, obtain required information, documents and signatures from patients and enter into practice management system;
+ Perform check-in process to notify clinical staff and provider patient is ready to be seen;
+ Verify patients eligibility and co-pays for the providers they are assigned each day;
+ Perform check-out process, collect patient payments, including co-pays and any past due balances; post any cash collected into practice management system and issue receipt to patient; schedule follow-up appointments and testing as provider directs;
+ Obtain authorization for physical therapy benefits;
+ Other responsibilities as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma required, College Degree preferred;
+ 1-3 years customer service experience in a medical setting preferred;
+ Advanced certification billing/coding a plus.
**Other information:**
+ Ability to travel to other locations if needed, reliable transportation is essential
+ Pay is based on years of experience
40 hours per week.
M & W 10:30-7:00pm
Tu &Th 6:30-3:00pm
F 8:30-5:00pm
