Tahoka ISD is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The SLP will provide speech and language theraphy services to students with communication disorders, support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students reach their full potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
Provide direct theraphy services in individual group settings
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with IDEA regulations
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student learning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and accomodations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (CFs welcome to apply)
Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred but not required
Strong communication, orgainzational, and collaboration skills
