Requirements Physical Therapist (PT) School (PT School) StartDate: 6/30/2025 Available Shifts: 4 D Pay Rate: 1984.00 2063.00 AMN Healthcare is partnering with a Norwalk, Connecticut school district to hire a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to work with one of the top districts in the area, providing services to children of all ages. Generally, the PT will conduct assessments, build and execute effective treatment plans, and educate students to reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.\nResponsibilities for this role include: \n\u0009Partner with the district as a member of a collaborative team to help students restore and maintain their physical functions.\u0009Screen and evaluate students referred to Physical Therapy treatment. \u0009Appropriately collect data, report findings.\u0009Diagnose movement dysfunction and create personalized treatment plans to help patients reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.\u0009Provide evidencebased direct and consultative therapy services as required.\u0009Maintain accurate documentation and billing per district and state standards. \u0009Participate on a collaborative team and maintain clear communication with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student treatment. Required Qualifications Physical Therapist, School CT State license Preferred Qualifications \u0009Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program \u0009Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) \u0009Active Physical Therapy (PT) license in Connecticut \u0009Clear, articulate communication skills \u0009Ability to explain results to a varied audience \u0009Candidates with previous school experience a plus! \u0009Completion of a criminal record and background check Facility Location Part of Fairfield County, the Bridgeport/Norwalk area of Connecticut is an energetic region with an extensive network of toprated hospitals and medical facilities.
