Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a school-based setting serving students in grades PreK-6. This position involves supporting a caseload of approximately 20 students with a range of mild, moderate, and severe disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, and developmental delays. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess student needs Write detailed evaluation reports Provide therapy services tailored to individual student goals Attend and actively participate in Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Deliver itinerant therapy services across multiple classrooms as required Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with students diagnosed with ASD, intellectual disabilities, and developmental delays Skilled in conducting evaluations and writing clear, comprehensive reports Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families in educational settings Commitment to supporting student communication development in a K-6 school environment Location and Schedule: Based in Cleveland, OH Part-time position, approximately 15 hours per week School year contract (NSY) This role provides an excellent opportunity to impact the communication skills and educational progress of diverse students with special needs.
