This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Santa Rosa, CA. The position is on a contract basis for the upcoming school year (NSY), focusing on supporting children with speech and language challenges across a diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Lead therapy sessions that address specific speech and language goals
- Maintain detailed documentation to track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate student care
- Educate and involve families in therapy approaches and progress
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
- Ability to operate both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
