Speech Language Pathologist in Citrus Heights, CA

This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials such as SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or SLP - School, seeking a contract role for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Citrus Heights, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students experiencing speech and language challenges
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Provide targeted therapy sessions focused on achieving speech and language objectives
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of therapeutic outcomes
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care
• Involve and educate families to support student progress outside of therapy sessions

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in the state of practice
