Located in Milton, WA, this K-12 school-based contract position offers a unique opportunity for certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to contribute meaningfully to student development over the course of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Facilitate targeted therapy sessions aimed at achieving speech and language goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation to track student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and effective care.
- Involve and educate families to support the therapy process and promote student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and as a key contributor within a collaborative team environment.
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in the respective state is required.
