Summary of Job Duties: The Physical Therapist at PACE is a member of the interdisciplinary team that provides evaluations, direct patient care and treatments for geriatric participants, monitoring the care and progress of these participants in their care. Responsibilities include developing personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. The role also involves implementing wellness programs to prevent mobility loss and ensuring all documentation complies with UAMS policies and HIPAA standards.This position supports treatment plan development for patients in the PACE setting at UAMS and Washington Regional.
We are pleased to offer a New Hire-Sign-on Bonus of $15,000 for a 2-year commitment paid over three installments.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002 OR Masters degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience in Physical Therapy.
- Certified MDT and/or OCS.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish-English).
Special knowledge, abilities and skills:
- Must have a strong background in treatment of orthopedic conditions.
- Ability to read, write and communicate to clinic staff, physicians and the public.
- Must possess good hand-eye coordination and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
- Must have ability to conduct and interpret tests administered to patients.
