A school-based speech-language pathologist position is available in Marysville, CA, serving an elementary school setting on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This role is ideal for professionals holding credentials such as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or those qualified as SLP - School.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Providing targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language goals
- Closely monitoring and documenting student progress over time
- Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and coordinated care
- Involving and educating families to support therapy goals and encourage progress
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
