Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract A full-time speech-language pathologist position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Hope Mills, NC. This contract role runs for the full 2024-2025 school year, Monday through Friday, providing speech and language services as well as comprehensive case management to students. The selected candidate will deliver direct speech and language support to a diverse caseload, which currently includes 20 students with speech-language needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and managing all documentation and compliance related to each student's speech and language goals. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of students during their academic journey while helping shape enrollment for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Desired qualifications and experience: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Specialization or experience working with pediatric populations Experience providing speech-language pathology services in school settings, preferably K-12 Strong case management skills and experience managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Key responsibilities include: Providing direct, evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12 Conducting speech and language evaluations and administering standardized testing Developing and monitoring individualized therapy plans and goals Managing all required documentation and compliance under educational and clinical guidelines Facilitating effective communication between students, parents, and school staff This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success through direct intervention and team collaboration in a supportive school environment.
