Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for services. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective strategies. Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on improving daily living and academic skills. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to meet evolving needs. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines and state regulations. Engage with families and school staff to promote understanding of occupational therapy goals and methods. Qualifications: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. State licensure and certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, families, and staff. Ability to manage a varied caseload and remain organized in a dynamic environment.
