: $30-35/hour depending on experience level

- Office Hours

- Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

- Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work alongside a physical therapist to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses. Your role will involve providing hands-on care to patients, implementing treatment plans, assisting in rehabilitation exercises and overseeing the flow of the physical therapy bay.

Duties

- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans under the supervision of a physical therapist

- Provide therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to help patients regain mobility and strength

- Monitor patients' progress and report back to the supervising physical therapist

- Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques

Requirements

- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and trigger point therapy

- Experience in orthopedics, acute care, or chronic care settings is preferred
