A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in White Hall, MD. This full-time, contract role involves providing onsite speech therapy services to students in a public school setting. The therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to students on their caseload, ensuring progress and support aligned with individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students in an educational setting
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and support staff
- Maintain organized documentation and digital records in compliance with school requirements
- Utilize assessment tools and evaluation resources to monitor student progress
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) held for at least 1 year
- Active professional license as an SLP
- Minimum of 1 year experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Self-motivated with a commitment to positively impacting student outcomes
- Competence with technology including digital paperwork, email communication, and a willingness to learn new software and basic troubleshooting
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
