This contract position focuses on helping children overcome communication challenges, enhancing their social skills, and fostering academic achievement through targeted therapy and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Deliver services through direct and indirect methods, including teletherapy when applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state licensure and school policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current Texas State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, teletherapy, or school-based practice highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and school team members
