Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Dallas, TX

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a dynamic school setting near Dallas, TX for the 2024-2025 academic year. This contract position focuses on helping children overcome communication challenges, enhancing their social skills, and fostering academic achievement through targeted therapy and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Deliver services through direct and indirect methods, including teletherapy when applicable
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state licensure and school policies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Current Texas State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, teletherapy, or school-based practice highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and school team members
