Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Cypress, TX

A healthcare setting in Cypress, TX is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join their team on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This role offers flexible scheduling, with options for full-time or part-time work, and a preference for on-site engagement.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in school settings is advantageous
• Proficient in the use of AAC devices
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric or school-aged populations
• Develop and implement targeted, individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, SLP assistants, and occupational therapists
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with professional standards
