Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in school settings is advantageous
- Proficient in the use of AAC devices
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric or school-aged populations
- Develop and implement targeted, individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, SLP assistants, and occupational therapists
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with professional standards
